Boston Love

My pup is famous!

Ok.  Not really, but he has been reblogged a few times via Tumblr after I decided to submit some of his pictures to a website called 'Fuck Yeah Boston Terriers' (and yes, I do feel a little guilty for dropping the F-Bomb on my blog, but the site is too cute to keep to myself).  If you love boston terriers, or just cute things in general, you should go look at this site.  

I'm constantly 'aww-ing' while I'm on it and I call Jake over to my computer at least every other picture because this time, 'it really is the cutest one!'

While we are on the subject of loving bostons...

If you have, or have ever even met, a Boston, you will understand how funny this is.  Seriously, Bentley has made my nose immune to bad smell by now.

Bentley's 2nd Birthday!

For Bentley's birthday this year, Jake and I wanted to make sure that we did everything that a Bentley Creature loves to do sooo...

1. We visited Grandma

2. Shared a Cheeseburger with him

3. Got him a peanut butter filled femur

4. Let him pick out a new toy

5. Went to the lake...he even got to go on the boat!

I'm Back....again!

If finals didn't take up enough of my time, over the past few weeks I have also been working, wrapping up my internship, and moving into my boyfriend's house! 

I am almost done moving...I cant believe how much random crap I had stored in my condo; whats even more amazing is how we got it to fit into his place along with his and his roommate's stuff.

Now that the month of crazy is coming to a close and summer is emerging, I will be able to dedicate some much, much needed love to the blogging world!

Doggy Days

This is like the first Saturday that was both nice and work-free.  Usually its one or the other so today I was super excited to take Bentley to a new dog park.  It was huge! The dog park I used to take him to was tiny and no one actually wanted their dogs to play..so weird.  Before we went, we stopped at Petco to buy a Frisbee.  Jake and I weren't sure if he would care for it but I'm pretty sure it is his new favorite toy now!

Things I Love Thursday

Before I get into all the cool stuff I found this week and very much want, Bentley got neutered today.  I felt bad for the poor guy, I didn't want to do it but I just couldn't have him humping everything female and peeing on everything vertical anymore.  He was all shaky after he got done this afternoon at still (at midnight) is acting kind of funny due to meds.  He is walking like a drunk too. Haha.  But he is okay and his testies are shriveled.  Below is a picture that the vet took of him right after surgery- they wrapped him in blankets and surrounded him with teddy bears.  I wonder if he will ever find out that he isn't human.<3

Now Onto the Things I Love

Bentleys Birthday

Soo my pup Bentley's 1st birthday is tomorrow and of course I am going to have a party for the guy.  I put together a video that goes from his birth till like last week.  I just love him more than anything.  His party won't be until Sunday so I'm posting this now and then I'm sure I'll put up our party pictures later on.  Happy Birthday Bentley Scrilla!

Just Because I Love my Puppy.

Bentley Scrilla Sprague.  Don't know what I would do without the little guy.  He is my sidekick.  I read a blog called The Curious Pug and her pup, Cyrus, just died and whenever I read her posts about him it helps me to remember to appreciate my baby.  So here is Fill in in the Blank Tuesday, Bentley Style.

1. Something that makes me a great friend is, I am a dog and I luz to cuddle and play and give kisses.

2. I am a boston terrier with one black toe.

3. I am not human.  But sometimes my mom forgets that.

4. If I had to describe myself in 3 words, they would be Energetic, strong, and moody when Im tired.

5. Something I'm really cheap about is toys.  I rip em up way too fast to spend moms paychecks on nice ones.

6. Something I'm willing to splurge on is collars and sweaters.  Im a pup that likes to be in style.  And don't you dare take my collar off cause I'll whine and whine till I get it back.

7. I would trade all my toys for trip to the river or the dog park.

Project 52

Week 3 of project 52! Its harder than I thought to take a new picture of something in my life once a week.  But anyway...weeks ago I posted some room design inspirations and I ended up going off of the black and white one.  Here is a little picture of it with Bentley (who blends in quite well with his new place!)

Project 52

I've recently been following the blog called The Curious Pug and she is doing a project called Project 52.  Project 52 is where you upload a picture every week of something you love.  Although I have no photography skills whatsoever, I decided that this would just be a fun blog like thing to start doing.  So for my first picture, I present you with Bentley Scrilla Sprague, my 9 month old Boston Terrier- he never fails to put a smile on my face.
