And I thought I'd get away from Uniforms after Private School...

I'm not really one to dress in the most unique way.  I tend to follow the basic style for my age group however there are a handful of items that I know most of you own.  Especially on college campuses,  it seems that us girls are all conforming to a single outfit.   Our new uniform consists of:

Uggs or other boots:  Seriously girls....Uggs are comfy and great for cold lazy snow days, but that's about it.  Otherwise they are clunky, distracting, and quite frankly, getting a bit old.  I love warm toes as much as the next gal but I'm ready for these things to go out of style (except snow days).  On a completely different scale are other boots that you tuck you pants into.  I agree that these are cute and that they are a good style for cold months- but like uggs, I'm seeing wayy to many of them around.  In my own little study at the airport I discovered that over 70% of gilrs were wearing these things.  I never thought my little brown flats would be different and unique!  On a side note...this look reminds me of a Disney Prince.

North Face: Oh how I love North Face!  I myself own 3 different coats now, my favorite being the all popular black fleece jacket.  So as much as I cannot bash on how every girl ever owns this item, it is true thats it is the new winter accessory for our grand uniformLeggings!  Gross Gross Gross...how I hate these things.  Unless paired with a long shirt or dress that goes an inch or two past your butt...LEGGING ARE NOT PANTS.  When are girls going to get this?! No one wants to see your butt rolls or underwear lines so unless you are a supermodel, these need to leave your wardrobe.  All I have to say about these things is that they NEED TO GO!

Lastly, Burberry Scarfs:  Once upon a time, I used to love these.  I really wanted one myself but now that every girl owns the same scarf, I am rethinking that.  C'mon ladies, there are a million original, unique, scarfs out there...why do we all have the same exact one?!  

All in All: Besides leggings, all of these items are cute and trendy but us girls really need to start expanding from the everyday outfit of a black northface paired with leggings (or skinny jeans) and uggs.  I mean how many times a day do you see these outfits?  
Lets do what we do best and find our own, individual style!!!!  I mean, would you be okay with all this if we were talking about prom dresses?
