First and foremost, my favorite makeup item is eyeliner. I use MAC's fluidline liquid eyeliner (color: blacktrack). This stuff lasts me for about 3 months, it is waterproof, and it stays on my lower inner lids all day.
As for Mascara, I like to have a few on hand and switch it up every few days or so. The ones I like to use the most are 'Benefit's Bad Gal Lash' from Sephora or Ulta, Covergirl' 'Lash Blast Volume,' and of course Maybelline's signature pink and green bottle of 'Great Lash.'
*Tip: if you have super short eyelashes like me, its helps to use two different mascaras at one time. Usually I will put on a couple coats of Lash Blast and then go over it with Bad Gal Lash. This helps because the different brushes kind of 'balance out' the other brush's mistakes allowing more coats with less clump.*
If and when I do use eyeshadow, I like to use Benefit's Creaseless Cream Shadow from Sephora or Ulta. Since it is cream, it tends to stay on your lids better than just a powder shadow. You can apply it either with your finger or a brush. My favorite color from this line is called 'Birthday Suit,' however there are many different shades to choose from. *If you do prefer to use powder eyeshadow, I recommended applying a layer of Smashbox's Photo Finish Lid Primer in order to help your shadow stick.

This was Prom 3 years ago..but still all the same makeup! |
Last but not least, Concealer and Foundation. Every girl wishes to have a flawless face...for me, these items help smooth over impurities and prevent new ones from popping up.
1) Benefit's Erase Paste. I use it under my eyes to erase circles and tighten and brighten the skin around my eyes. It can also be used anywhere on the face to cover up small blemishes.
2) Like with Mascaras, I like to switch up my concealers. So I also swear by Mary Kay Concealer. I use the shade Ivory 2 and it tends to blend well with both my tanned summer skin and my pale winter skin.
3) As for what I use all over my face, I don't think I will ever sway from using Mary Kay's Mineral Powder Foundation. It blends perfectly and my face never looks chalky. I personally think it is better for your face then the Advertised Bare Minerals powder. In fact, my Grandma (who has the skin of a 23 year old) is always asked how she keeps her skin so pure...Her reply? "Hun, nothing but Mary Kay has ever touched this face."
